- BROWN SUGAR PROJECT, KWALI FEDERAL CAPITAL
TERRITORY
The Council in collaboration with National Office for technology
Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) commissioned a 10 tonne per day
brown sugar project at Kona Mada in Kwali Area council of FCT. The
national Cereals Research Institute (NCRI) Badegi, fabricated the
plant.
The Council is also supporting the farming of industrial sugarcane
by the Kona Mada community through the funding of supply of improved
sugar cane cuttings from NCRI Badegi.
