INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT INFORMATION
SYSTEM (IMIS):
The implementation of the project
commenced with the development of the Human Resources Information System,
Payroll Information System and Accounting/General Ledger Information System.
However, the need for improvement arose due to expansion of the Council’s
activities. Thus, additional modules were developed to include the following:
Stock and
Inventory Control Information System;
Cash Book
Management Information System;
Housing Loan
Information System;
Audit Control
Information System;
Financial
Planning and Budget Analysis Information System;
Project Analysis
Information System;
Pension Fund
Information System;
Staff Attendance
Information System;
Fixed Asset
Tracking Information System.
Within the IMIS,
a seamless exchange of information has now been made possible.
COMPUTER
TRAINING
Computer training programmes are run
on regular basis. Seven (7) batches of the six-week computer appreciation class
were organized in the year. In addition, specialized programmes were conducted
for various organizations.
A total of 421 participants were
trained. The details were as follows:
