The June edition of Science and
Technology Update features the mandates and achievements of the Centre
for Automotive Design and Development, the Rubber Research Institute of
Nigeria, the National Institute for Freshwater Fisheries Research and
the Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research. This edition also
features articles on the establishment of plantation of indigenous plant
species, high quality garri production, chemical properties of cocoyam,
drugs for the treatment of asthma and skin diseases, vaccines against
blackleg are some of projects discussed. On-going R&D works on
