The report
consists of six chapters. The first chapter highlights the objectives
of the survey, terms of reference, membership and basic raw materials
required by the sector. Chapter two focuses on the modalities adopted
to accomplish the task while the third chapter reflects on the
prevailing economic and political conditions of the country as it
affects the sector. Analysis of the questionnaires in chapter four
gives detailed and comprehensive information on companies operating in
the sector as well as the activities of higher institutions and research
institutes. The fifth chapter synthesizes the various problems and
challenges of the sector while the last chapter gives recommendations to
government in ensuring a conducive atmosphere for the desired growth and
development in the Electrical and Electronic sector.
